This building, located in Gyeong Bok Gung palace in Seoul, was originally built in 1412, but burned down by the Japanese in 1592. This newer structure dates back to 1867. 

 

The Gyeong-Hoeru pavilion was originally surrounded by a gate that allowed access to only the highest officials and the king. Its architectural design symbolizes heaven, earth, man, and time.
