Analicia is a talented, passionate photographer and artist who put in the time and effort for every photo at our wedding. Looking through our photos, we see time and time again her ability to capture not only the event, but also the emotion of the moment.
This is evident in the photos that we received from her. My guests also were very happy with how approachable she was – a few of the families attended used some slower moments of the reception to grab a few quick family photos, and a few of my guests asked to take specific photos, all of which were greeted with enthusiasm.
Being an LGBT couple looking through wedding vendors can be stressful. With Analicia, we were met with nothing but complete enthusiasm and an understanding of how to adapt the “traditional” wedding photos to suit two men, and many new photos that might not be considered in a heterosexual wedding.

I have used Analicia several times to take photos of my family. Analicia has consistently done a beautiful job, capturing gorgeous photos, both formal and informal, of our family members. On one occasion, I was having photos taken of my 3 year old granddaughter, who at the time, was not the most cooperative subject. Analicia was very patient, following her around, talking to her, playing with her, and in between, was able to take some of the most beautiful photos that I've ever seen of her.
On another occasion (when my granddaughter was 4 and more cooperative), Analicia came to our house, bringing her formal backgrounds, as well as lots of fun props, and again, took beautiful pictures of my granddaughter and her cousin. The props that Analicia brought (confetti and balloons) made for such fun and festive photos. This past Christmas, with very short notice, Analicia took photos of my cousin's baby, playing in snow for the first time, and the results were spectacular.
In addition to taking such wonderful photos, Analicia edits them quickly. I will continue to use Analicia Honkanen Photography for our family's portraits.
